"Doomsday wins" Boomstick: Damn! 682 was always difficult to kill, but doomsday made it look easy! damn mutated Kryptonian... Wiz: Your right, while 682 was one of the foundation's most feared and seemly unbeatable beasts, to Doomsday, it was just another Tuesday. Boomstick: 682 is known far and wide for its ridiculous adaptation, and with doomsday ability to be immune to whatever killed him, it really seemed like this battle was just gonna go on forever. Wiz: And add in the fact that Doomsday wouldn't be smart enough to kill 682 before he adapts to his fatal blows, it looked pretty obvious that no one, aside from everyone else caught in the fight, was going to die. Boomstick: So in order to figure out who was gonna go down at all, we have to look at official SCP documents to determine how 682 was even going to go down in the first place. Wiz: In the foundation MANY, and I do mean like, god knows how many attempts they went through to kill this thing, there was one log that, while 682 did survive, they lost almost all of their body mass from throwing down with another anomaly that the foundation doesn't want to mess with. Boomstick: That's right people, we're talking about Mr "Please dear god don't look at my face" SCP 096. In the cross-testing with 682, 096, even though he didn't COMPLETELY destroy all of 682, was able to go on FOR DAYS trying desperately trying to kill the damn gecko. And unlike other objects, he was able to destroy over 80 percent of 682's biomass, making him the closets to ending the Hard-to-Kill Reptile. Wiz: While 682 did survive being torn apart by the shy guy, we see from this same log that 682 was completely exhausted from this fight, not even wanting anything to do with 096. Boomstick: Now imagine that very same fight, but replace 096 with Doomsday himself, In DC history, we have seen doomsday go on for days fighting the Justice League while causing Havoc to the entire world. Wiz: And it should be fair to say that 682 was adapting to everything the shy guy was throwing at him, because... Well, when is he not? Boomstick: And something else we should consider, the opponents 682 and Doomsday fight on a daily bases are completely different, while 682 uses his adaptability to survive being killed, Doomsday has been fighting Meta's like fucking Super Man, and his battle with doomsday has always pushed him past his limits. Wiz: So in conclusion, while both opponents have the overpowered ability of adaptation, only Doomsday himself can keep going and finish the fight till the end. Boomstick: And I know what you're thinking, 682 has this God Form that would destroy reality the moment he would transform, but even if the reptile did, it would be safe to say that wouldn't be any different from the man of steel himself. Wiz: And if you think about it, 682 has used his Adaptability to keep himself from dying, while Doomsday has died many times and has come back stronger than before. Boomstick: while 682 looked like he found an easy match, all he found was his doomsday- "096 is heard screaming and is getting louder" Boomstick: Oh shit... I forgot we looked at the 096 images. How many times?! Wiz: Quick let's get out of here! Boomstick: Oh shit! Oh fuck! Some of Gordon's feats and weapons: 1. He fought and killed hundreds of well trained Special Forces Marines. Gordon is extremely cunning as highlighted in how Half Life 1 is played. He has snarks and laser tripmines to catch opponents off guard or stealthily kill them. 2. He took down 2 M1 Abrams tanks, 2 Apache attack helicopters, a armored APC, a multiversal empire’s skyscraper cutting them off from their home dimension, hundreds of aliens, hundreds of alien cyborgs (Combine Soldiers), hundreds of aforementioned Marines, and a literal god. (The Nihilanth was a being that could control things to its will and could travel universes.) Not to mention his extremely diverse arsenal. For example the Gluon Gun from Half Life 1 can disintegrate things and break them down at the atomic level. Or the Tau Cannon which is a particle accelerator which shoots Depleted Uranium 235 (So does the Gluon Gun.) He also has a Spas-12, MP5 with a underbarrel grenade launcher, a .357 magnum revolver, Laser tripmines, Snarks, Tau Cannon, Crowbar, Crossbow, RPG, Gluon Gun, Glock 17, Gravity Gun, Hivehand, hand grenades, Combine Assault rifle (Which I believe shoots plasma and can disintegrate things.) and MP7 with a underbarrel grenade launcher. As for armor he wears glasses and his famous H.E.V suit which, when fully charged, can withstand a direct hit from a RPG. Also the HEV withstood a disintegration field being overcharged basically making Gordon near invincible. It also overcharged his gravity gun allowing him to disintegrate humans and practically anything. His suit can also withstand radiation, ballistic damage, and acidic damage. It also has something called the long jump module allowing Gordon to jump long distances and has landing jets which break his fall from high places. Gordon’s suit also has a automatic health system administering things like Morphine when his health is low. He is 6’2 and around 150 pounds meaning he is most likely very physically fit. Quite literally Gordon is a one man army and the only thing holding him back is a creepy man in a suit and tie.

Pika-Ho! (Pikachu vs Jack Frost) In case it wasn’t obvious, it’s the mascots of the two most important franchises of the "Monster-collecting game" genre. But whereas Pokemon is the most popular one, Shin Megami Tensei has been around longer than Pokemon and basically codified the whole genre itself. So, basically, it’s the battle of the franchise who popularized the ‘mon-collecting genre versus the franchise who started it all in the first place.

Ok let me spitball a matchup idea out of boredom let me know how y'all feel about this one. Apothican Semblance (Team RWBY vs Primis) (RWBY vs CoD Zombies)

Naughty & Bloody (Bloody Bunny vs Naughty Bear)

What is it now, Ruby's 4th solo track and 5th track in general ? She's actually caught up to Yang now, discounting vocal versions. And man, what a track (and track art because damn it looks cool) to catch up on with. Seriously, I went into that track expecting pretty much nothing (for unknown reasons to me honestly because all of Ruby's solo tracks have been fantastic so far) and I was absolutely flabbergasted with good this track ended up being. It of course catches that usual RWBY flair that other tracks featuring the franchise have but here it's mixed with more classical orchestral anime OST in a relatively similar vein to, say, Touhou stuff which makes it not only more unique but massively catchy and grandiose. From the very start the track absolutely slaps you in the face with an extremely powerful and catchy start to set the tone and tell you "this is the song, this is the quality you can expect from it, enjoy" and damn I can get behind that. It wastes no time getting to the action and it manages to do the exploit of keeping this consistently high quality throughout 100% of the song and I'm not even exaggerating, I don't have a single tiny segment that I don't like inside this song because of how well it uses every single mechanic and instrument it makes use of. This is also for this very reason that I won't go over the whole entire song because if I did I'd spend 90% of this comment saying synonyms of "this sounds really good !" so I'll mostly focus on general feelings and a couple select segments of the track that stand out even more than the already great package this song is. And of course the main thing I want to note on that end is the sheer amount of catchy melodies the song has throughout its duration. There's so many of them that it's to pinpoint exactly which I like the most but if I had a gun to my head I'd likely answer the main melody heard multiple times throughout the song (IE: 2:29-2:59) because it combines everything that makes this song really appreciable: extremely catchy, epic and energetic. This combined with the fact that there's a lot of other similar yet different melodies result in the track feeling extremely dynamic and fluid without feeling redundant or stagnant at any point. Speaking of which, I also like the few break segments that the track has (IE: 2:03-2:29) that all help a lot making the song more, well, dynamic by giving some intensity variation and also help make the track not feel overwhelming. It gives the song some buildup moments to get across shifts in it and by extension the fight and it conveys well how those two, despite being extremely fast and mobile fighters, are still "human" at the end of the day so they'd need to take breaks, something even more notable as those breaks get more numerous as the song progresses to showcase tiredness in the characters. It's a really nice inclusion both to give the track more personality and to sound better as a whole. And to follow through on that I want to talk about the ending of track, specifically the final arc it has starting at 3:13. In a way it's a standard finale starting by a break to build up tension and intensity followed by a climactic final segment featured notable melodies from the rest of the song but I especially like how it's done because of how it sounds. It capitalizes perfectly on what I said before about using the song to showcase the characters' state throughout the battle. It starts with a break to signify the characters gathering their strengths for one final clash and takes time to settle in to both create more hype and also to reflect how, by this point in the battle, those two are exhausted from the battle so they have a hard time to get back in the fight. But they still push through at 3:36 with a burst of power that engages this final segment. A final segment that starts very melodic as the rest of the song but quickly changes at 3:53 in a much more "burst"-like and agressive finale to reflect how those two are reaching their limits so they're throwing everything they have left at one another to try and take the enemy down even if it's more chaotic and less organized than their previous fighting styles. And that until 4:15 where the song finally breaks down to signify the kill shot as one of the characters finally brings down the other in a brutal final attack. Or so it would be were it not for a comeback at 4:22 in one "last breath" style short finish that showcases a real display of heroism and determination as the character that was just seemingly brought comes back up in one last heroic stand with a final attack to truly finish the battle in an epic ending. Really I can't stress how much I like the addition of that one final short segment. Not only does it sound absolutely amazing but it adds so much to the song by making the characters truly feel heroic and determined as said above with a final stand (something fitting of both as the segment is neutral so it could be a last stand from either character). It's a wonderful conclusion to an already amazing song that makes it stand out even more than it would otherwise. Overall this track is one that I really expected nothing from but that's massively surprised. I'd say "Brandon didn't have to go as hard as he did" but given it's pretty much his job it'd feel disrespectful so I'll stick to saying that damn he didn't pull any punches with this track. Everything about it just works perfectly to its benefit from its character and series representation to how it sounds in general passing by the depth it features. Really, it's likely recency bias and chances are that it'll lower in my rankings over time but right now this track is among one of my favorite instrumental commissions so far and that's one hell of an accomplishment given the competition around, on its own it made me want to watch/read Seraph Of The End while I didn't care in the slightest about it before (RWBY is still something I'm not ready to get myself into tho) which is to say something about the song's quality. Truly wonderful work with this.
